A decorative antique porcelain sugar bowl with lid and matching creamer produced by R.S. Prussia, Germany, late 19th to early 20th century. Each piece features a molded Art Nouveau form with flowing handles and scalloped rims, decorated with hand-painted scenic portraits and landscape backgrounds in soft tones. The sugar bowl is topped with a stylized finial lid. The underside bears the red R.S. Prussia mark with wreath and star, used by Reinhold Schlegelmilch in Suhl, Germany. These pieces are representative examples of the finely molded and decorated porcelain produced by R.S. Prussia during the height of its popularity among collectors.
