This pair of ruby slag glass plates features a heart-shaped silhouette with an intricate openwork lacy heart glass border. The glass is a deep, translucent red with the characteristic milky marbling of slag glass visible under direct light. Each plate bears the embossed Westmoreland "W" over "WG" stack logo on the reverse. These pieces are representative of mid century modern American pressed glass craftsmanship and serve as both functional serving pieces and decorative collectibles.
