Orthodox Christian icon depicting Saint Dimitrie Basarabov (Sf. Cuvios Dimitrie cel Nou), presented in a silver-clad repoussé style mount with hand-painted facial details. The icon is mounted on a stained wood panel and features ornate decorative borders and halo work in the Byzantine tradition.
The reverse bears a label indicating silver overlay construction using 999 silver with gold decoration and traditional Byzantine iconographic materials. Fitted with a hanging mount to verso.
