This artwork is an hommage to Salvator Mundi, attributed to Leonardo da Vinci, circa 1499-1510, oil on panel, currently in the possession of the Louvre, Abu Dhabi. The current piece by Alex Sastoque connects three compelling times in history: The time of the life of Christ, the Italian Renaissance and our current era, in which we witness a technological and evolutionary explosion that we have thanks to artists such as Leonardo Da Vinci. Sastoque reinterprets the original work, disintegrating the physical form, preserving its es sence, and reintegrating it into one. A chemical, quantum and artistic process which results in this masterpiece.
