A magnificent, large set of fourteen (14) dinner plates from the highly sought-after "Medusa" collection, a collaboration between the esteemed German porcelain maker Rosenthal and the iconic Italian fashion house Versace.
Designed by Gianni Versace and Paul Wunderlich, this pattern, also known as Ikarus Medusa Black or Barocco Nero, was one of the first and most recognizable collections launched in 1993.
Features:
- Design: The plates feature a bold, opulent design with a crisp white center. The wide rim is decorated with elaborate black and gold baroque ornaments, centered around the iconic Medusa head emblem (located on the backstamp, verso).
- Material: Crafted from high-quality German fine porcelain.
- Markings: Each piece is marked on the underside with the official "Rosenthal Versace Medusa" factory mark.
