This elegant set of five demitasse cups and matching saucers showcases the intricate artistry of early 20th-century Nippon porcelain. Each piece is meticulously hand-painted with a heavy gold moriage-style filigree featuring floral motifs and subtle turquoise enamel jeweling. The underside of the cups bears the authentic Hand Painted Nippon wreath mark, signifying their origin and artisanal quality. While the set displays significant age and wear, the vibrant gold work remains a striking example of the Japanese export porcelain era, making this a desirable lot for collectors of Nippon or period teaware.
