This mixed media work on paper features a vertical composition of three stacked Campbell's soup cans against a mottled blue background. The cans represented include Beef Noodle, Turkey Vegetable, and Cream of Chicken varieties, rendered with bold black outlines and a painterly application of red, white, and yellow. A graphic black line resembling a string or wire extends from the top of the open can lid. The piece is prominently signed "Andy Warhol" in black marker vertically along the left edge of the composition and is signed again on the reverse. The paper shows a distinct canvas-like texture.
