This framed pair features two panoramic views of Stockbridge, Massachusetts, Rockwell's longtime home. The first piece, titled "Stockbridge Main Street at Christmas," was originally commissioned by LOOK magazine and is presented here as a commemorative print for the One Hundred Twenty-Fifth Anniversary of the Berkshire Life Insurance Company. The second piece, titled "Spring in Stockbridge," depicts a serene street scene with cyclists and budding trees, accompanied by descriptive text from its original publication. Both items originate from the Norman Rockwell Museum of the South collection.
