This exquisite French porcelain plate from the Tressemann & Vogt (T&V) factory in Limoges features a vibrant hand-painted floral design of anemones in shades of lavender, pink, and purple with delicate green foliage. The plate is distinguished by its intricate reticulated (pierced) border with scalloped edges, all heavily accented in brilliant gold gilding. The central floral arrangement is set against a soft, variegated pastel ground with subtle gilded highlights. The underside bears the green "T&V France" backstamp, used by the factory during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
