This lot contains two framed prints by Norman Rockwell, illustrating scenes from American literature and domestic life.
Left: "The Bead-Stringer" (alternatively titled "The Toymaker"), originally published as a Saturday Evening Post cover on May 11, 1940. It depicts an elderly woman patiently teaching a young girl to string beads, capturing a tender intergenerational moment.
Right: A portrait of "Ichabod Crane," the iconic protagonist from Washington Irving's The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. This illustration was part of Rockwell's 1937 series for the Heritage Press edition of the book, showing the gaunt schoolmaster sharpening his quill. Both items originate from the Norman Rockwell Museum of the South.
