This set of three framed lithograph prints from the Norman Rockwell Museum of the South collection features iconic mid-century advertising and sports illustrations. The first print, "The Bribe," is a vintage advertisement for Lime-Crush soda, depicting a young boy "bribing" a policeman with a bottle of the beverage. The second piece, originally published in 1929, is a Listerine advertisement titled "The same advice I gave your Dad," showing a doctor examining a young boy's throat. The third print, "Gee, Thanks Brooks!," was a 1971 commission for ATO (Athletic Training Organization) and features Baltimore Orioles legend Brooks Robinson signing an autograph for a young fan. These works are quintessential examples of Rockwell's ability to blend commercial narrative with relatable American imagery.
