This exquisite, highly stylized original limited-edition serigraph by the legendary master of Art Deco, Erté (Romain de Tirtoff), is titled "The Chaste Susanna" (La Chaste Suzanne). Inspired by the biblical narrative of Susanna, the composition brilliantly translates the theme of virtue and modesty into the artist's signature fashion-forward, theatrical style.

The piece features a striking composition with three elegant figures: two draped symmetrically from chains on the left and right in sheer crimson fabric, and a central dancer in a vibrant pink gown performing under a dark archway. Below, a whimsical winged dragon in shades of blue and pink glides through swirling, stylized silver fog against a structured grey stone background.

Rendered with Erté’s characteristic precision, this screenprint showcases smooth color gradients, flawless line work, and rich metallic accents. It is pencil-signed by the artist in the lower right margin and hand-numbered 300/300 in the lower left. Housed in a lavish, heavily detailed silver-gilded frame with a deep black velvet matboard and a salmon-toned inner fillet, this work represents a premier example of 20th-century Art Deco graphic art.
