This vintage Mikasa clear crystal hostesses platter or serving dish features an embossed frosted relief design depicting the "Twelve Days of Christmas" motifs arranged in the shape of a stylized Christmas tree, topped with a prominent star. The festive composition includes detailed representations of the traditional holiday song, such as a partridge in a pear tree, calling birds, French hens, a swan-a-swimming, and a maid-a-milking, all interconnected by sculpted ribbons and holly branches.
