Group consisting of a United States American Campaign Medal and matching ribbon bar. Established in 1942, the medal was awarded to U.S. military service members for duty within the American Theater of Operations between December 7, 1941, and March 2, 1946, during World War II. The bronze-tone medal features a relief scene depicting a naval cruiser, airplane, and submarine. The ribbon incorporates blue representing the American Theater along with white, black, and red stripes derived from the colors of the American flag.

Measurements:
Approximately 3 x 1.5 inches.

Condition report:
Wear consistent with age and use including minor surface scratches, finish wear, and handling marks to medal and ribbon components.
