Assorted collection of U.S. military memorabilia and ephemera spanning multiple periods. The grouping includes a Department of the Army certificate for the Army Commendation Medal accompanied by a medal with green-and-white ribbon, a USS Forrestal CV-59 embroidered patch, military photographs, newspaper clippings, correspondence and documents, a time reference chart, and additional military-related printed material.

Also included is a certificate from the Northern Maine Council of the Boy Scouts of America titled “Certificate of Recognition,” along with a vintage portrait photograph of a uniformed serviceman and a photograph depicting a group of military personnel with an aircraft. The USS Forrestal (CV-59) was the U.S. Navy’s first Forrestal-class aircraft carrier, commissioned in 1955 and named for James Forrestal, the first U.S. Secretary of Defense.
