Vintage Cragstan Automatic Sewing Machine, a child-sized toy sewing machine imported by Cragstan Industries. Finished in red and cream with miniature presser foot, needle assembly, spool wheel, controls, and “CRAGSTAN” branding to the base. The original illustrated box identifies it as battery powered and hand operated.
Comparable examples confirm this model was made in Japan and could operate by battery-powered motor or by hand. Cragstan Industries was a New York-based importer and distributor particularly associated with Japanese mechanical and battery-operated toys during the postwar era.
Accompanied by its original Cragstan Industries cardboard box. Working condition has not been tested.
