Attractive vintage German-style lidded beer stein with dark ground and richly colored high-relief scene of a courting couple with a huntsman and stag in a forest landscape. The tapered body is encircled with molded foliage and scrollwork, topped by a lattice-style border at the rim and a leaf-molded handle.
The stein is fitted with an ornate pewter-tone hinged lid and thumb lift, adding to its traditional look. Likely mid–20th century production in the Westerwald/Rhineland style, it’s a classic decorative piece for any German stein or hunting-themed collection.
