A unique mid-century modern studio pottery style decanter or ewer featuring a matte, dark brown-black glaze. The vessel is designed with a rotund, globular body, a short upward-angled pouring spout, and a flared trumpet neck. The neck is wrapped in a distinctive, removable tan leather collar that laces up with a leather cord through metal eyelets, providing both a tactile grip and a rustic design element. The piece is fitted with its original natural cork stopper and features an unglazed, flat stoneware base showing an incised hand-signed artist monogram or maker's mark.
