This delicate porcelain teacup and saucer set features a graceful botanical motif of large pink lilies with bold black foliage. The set is finished with fine gold gilt trim along the scalloped rims and on the ornate, scrolled handle. The base of the saucer bears the distinctive Royal Sealy backstamp, featuring a red mountain insignia and the Made in Occupied Japan mark. This stamp dates the production to the post-WWII era between 1947 and 1952, making it a highly collectible piece of mid-century Japanese export history. The interior of the cup is also decorated with a singular hand-painted floral bud, a mark of detailed craftsmanship typical of this period.

The set is in very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or visible repairs. The hand-painted floral transfers are bright and well-preserved. There is light, age-appropriate wear to the gold gilt trim on the rim of the cup and the top of the handle. Minor shelf wear is present on the unglazed foot rings of both pieces.
