This is a beautiful vintage offset lithograph or print reproduction of the famed ornithological artwork "Thaumatias Chionurus" (White-tailed Emerald Hummingbird). The original work was part of John Gould's (1804–1881) masterpiece, A Monograph of the Trochilidae, or Family of Hummingbirds, which was published in London during the mid-19th century.
