Vintage round compact mirror featuring a classic Fragonard-style romantic courting scene on the lid depicting a couple in 18th-century attire, housed in a gold-tone metal case and opening to dual interior mirrors, bearing the original foil sticker reading "Made in Western Germany". Round gold-tone pocket compact with a hinged lid and a mirror on each inner face. The exterior shows a printed courting couple in period dress, the lady in a white gown, the gentleman in a red coat and plumed hat. The inner rims have engraved scroll decoration.
- Dimensions: 4.25 in
- Condition: Good vintage condition with minor surface wear. Wear: flaking to the print, a white spot at the chin, a cracked and chipped mirror. Please see all photos for condition.
