The piece is titled "The Second Charge of the Guards" and is a historical lithograph depicting a battle scene,  from the Crimean War (1853–1856).

The title and details suggest this may depict the Charge of the Guards at the Battle of Inkerman (1854) during the Crimean War.

The British Guards Division played a significant role in repelling Russian forces, and this print likely commemorates their bravery.

The Crimean War was one of the first major conflicts to be documented in contemporary art and photography, making prints like this an important record.

The artwork credits W. Simpson, a well-known war artist who documented the Crimean War.

It was produced by Day & Son, Lithographers to the Queen, indicating it was an officially sanctioned or widely distributed print.
