Two-piece U.S. military history grouping comprising an original World War I-era 13th Division unit history and a modern Special Forces publication.

The embossed brown volume is the Official History of the Thirteenth Division, documenting the U.S. Army’s “Lucky 13th” Division during 1918–1919. The division was organized at Camp Lewis, Washington, on July 16, 1918, and trained for deployment to France. The Armistice ended World War I before the division could deploy, and it was subsequently demobilized in 1919. The book includes historical text, maps, photographs, and other material relating to the division and its personnel.

Accompanied by Special Forces: America’s Elite magazine/publication featuring modern U.S. special operations forces, with military photography, maps, and related articles.
