A historically significant three-piece group of World War II military ephemera associated with a U.S. serviceman's deployment in the European Theater.

The centerpiece of the collection is an official commemorative gratitude certificate issued by "The People of The City of Antwerp" to Private Ralph L. Moskowitz of the 280th Port Company. Dated September 4, 1945, the certificate honors his contribution and hard work at the Port of Antwerp during 175 days of continuous enemy air and V-weapon attacks between October 7, 1944, and March 30, 1945. It features a detailed panoramic illustration of the Antwerp cityscape and port at the top, along with official print signatures from municipal leadership at the bottom.

Accompanying the certificate are two vintage pocket booklets: an official military-issued Pocket Guide to France featuring a stylized cover sketch of a French village scene, and a French-language horse racing betting guide booklet titled La Clef des Courses (The Key to Racing) published in Brussels, Belgium.
