Auction Terms and Conditions Auction Location:
All auctions take place in Hollywood, Florida, and are governed by the terms below. By
registering to bid, you agree to these terms. For questions, email us at
info@williamsonauctiongallery.com or call 754-777-6955. Pre-Auction Examination All
items are available for preview prior to sale. We encourage buyers to inspect items in
person or arrange for a third-party evaluation.
All items are sold "As Is, Where Is", with no guarantees beyond those explicitly stated in
these terms.
Authenticity, Refunds, and Cancellation All items are sold ?As Is, Where Is.? Buyer?s sole opportunity to inspect, ask questions, or obtain a third-party evaluation is before the sale. Descriptions are prepared with a combination of human review and artificial intelligence and may contain errors. Questions and requests for additional photos or information must be made before the lot closes. Post-sale requests for more information or photos are not guaranteed. Any claim for a refund, credit, or cancellation of a purchase ? for any reason, including authenticity, description, condition, or title ? must be made in writing within thirty (30) days after the date of sale (the date the lot closed and Buyer was the winning bidder). Written notice must be sent to info@williamsonauctiongallery.com and must identify the lot number, invoice number, the specific basis for the claim, and the remedy requested. Notice is effective only when actually received. A phone call, text, platform message, or social-media message is not written notice. Failure to give timely written notice is a waiver. No refund or cancellation will be considered after the 30-day period, except where a longer period is required by non-waivable law. If the claim is based on authenticity (that the item is not genuine, is a counterfeit, or is not by the maker, brand, or issuer stated in the lot title), the written notice must include a written opinion from a Qualified Expert, as defined below. An authenticity claim submitted without that opinion is incomplete and will be denied. Buyer is responsible for all expert, shipping, insurance, and related costs. A ?Qualified Expert? means an independent person or laboratory that (a) did not buy, sell, or consign the item, (b) is not affiliated with Buyer, and (c) is regularly engaged in authenticating that category of property and holds recognized credentials or laboratory standing in that field. Examples include: Gems and jewelry: a Graduate Gemologist (GIA) or an AGS-credentialed gemologist, or a written opinion from GIA or AGS Watches: a written opinion from an authorized brand service center (for example, a Rolex service center) or an independent horologist who is an AWCI-certified watchmaker and regularly authenticates that brand Coins and bullion: PCGS or NGC Sports cards and trading cards: PSA, Beckett (BGS), or SGC Fine art, prints, and decorative art: a member of the Appraisers Association of America or the American Society of Appraisers whose specialty matches the object Other categories: a specialist appraiser or authentication laboratory of comparable standing in that category, subject to the Gallery?s acceptance of the credentials The opinion must be on the expert?s or laboratory?s letterhead, identify the item by lot number and a unique feature or photograph, state the expert?s credentials, and state a clear conclusion on authenticity and the basis for it. Online listings, informal emails, dealer opinions, and opinions from the seller or from Buyer?s own staff do not qualify. The Gallery may obtain its own expert opinion and may require the item to be examined by that expert before any decision. If the opinions conflict, the Gallery?s determination, made in good faith after review of both opinions, controls, except where non-waivable law provides otherwise. If the Gallery agrees the item is inauthentic, Buyer must return it within fourteen (14) days of that decision, in the same condition as sold, with all tags, packaging, and accessories. The refund is limited to the hammer price and buyer?s premium actually paid for that lot. Shipping, insurance, expert fees, taxes paid to third parties, and any other costs are not refunded. Buyer pays return shipping and insurance both ways. Title remains with Buyer until the Gallery receives and accepts the return. No refund or cancellation is available for a change of mind, a difference of opinion on value or grade, ordinary wear consistent with age, damage occurring after the sale, or any claim that was reasonably discoverable during the pre-auction inspection period. During the Auction: Bidding as Principal: By bidding, you accept responsibility for paying the purchase price, including buyer's premium and applicable taxes. For online bidders, additional premiums may apply per platform terms. Non-Payment: Failure to pay within 5 business days may result in late fees, cancellation, resale of items, or other actions deemed necessary by Williamson Auction Gallery. Shipping: Items not picked up or arranged for within 14 (fourteen) calendar days or purchase date will incur storage fees of $10 per item per day.
