This comprehensive tea service is rendered in the Kutani style, characterized by a vibrant palette of iron-red, green, and gold accents. The set features various narrative scenes, including geishas in garden settings, mountainous landscapes, and floral motifs. Notable pieces include two distinct teapots—one with a traditional overhead wire bail handle and bird-and-flower decoration, and another with a side handle featuring figural scenes and cherry blossoms. The collection is rounded out by an assortment of scalloped dishes, small lobed bowls, a covered sugar bowl, and a cream jug. Many pieces bear a red "Fine China / Made in Japan" backstamp accompanied by stylized figural marks.
