A Chinese hand-carved jade or hardstone boulder sculpture depicting a highly detailed mountain landscape vignette. The organic, irregularly shaped stone is deeply carved utilizing high-relief and openwork techniques to showcase dynamic natural features, including gnarled pine trees, rocky crags, cliffside steps, and flowing water structures. Miniature stylized figures or animals are delicately integrated into the pathways. The stone displays a variegated color palette with tones of milky white, light celadon green, and deep russet accents that follow the natural inclusions and rind of the boulder.
