Cuban Banco Nacional de Cuba 1 Peso specimen banknote, professionally certified and encapsulated by Paper Money Guaranty (PMG). The note is identified on the PMG holder as Pick 103s1 and dated 1949–52. It has been awarded a grade of Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ, with the EPQ designation indicating Exceptional Paper Quality.
The face features the Banco Nacional de Cuba title, UN PESO denomination, central portrait, specimen serial numbering, and a prominent diagonal ESPECIMEN overprint. The reverse is headed "REPUBLICA DE CUBA" and presents a detailed historical vignette with numerous figures and architectural elements.
