An exceptional Chinese porcelain monochrome vase featuring a striking flambé (sacrificial red / langyao type) glaze. The vessel is designed with a globular body transitioning into a tall cylindrical neck, flanked by two stylized molded elephant heads forming loop handles. The rich, glass-like copper red glaze thins to a creamy white translucency at the rim, pooling into deep violet-blue and lavender streaks down the length of the neck and upper shoulders before settling into a vibrant, deep oxblood red across the body. The underside is finished in a pale celadon-tinted glaze over an unglazed foot ring and bears an underglaze blue six-character Kaishu mark reading "Da Qing Kangxi Nian Zhi" (Made during the Kangxi Reign of the Great Qing Dynasty).
