Vintage framed Life Membership certificate issued by the Society of the 1st Infantry Division to Robert V. McKinney. The certificate features the division’s iconic World War I soldier imagery and decorative green border and recognizes the recipient as a Life Member of the organization. The Society of the First Infantry Division represents veterans who served with units assigned or attached to the U.S. Army’s 1st Infantry Division, widely known as the “Big Red One.” The Society continues to issue suitable-for-framing certificates to its Life Members.

The certificate appears dated November 15, 1965, with signatures of Society officers at the lower portion. Presented under glass in a gold-tone frame.
