This stylized bronze sculpture depicts a rooster with bold, voluminous forms and a dark greenish-brown patina. The work reflects Luna's signature "Neo-Guajiro" style, blending Cuban folkloric imagery with contemporary graphic sensibilities. The bird's anatomy is reduced to smooth, rounded geometric shapes—notably the comb, wattle, and tail feathers—giving it a powerful, totemic presence. The piece is signed "C. LUNA" and marked "PE" (Prueba de Estado/Artist's Proof) on the base. It is accompanied by an original Certificate of Autenticidad signed by the artist in October 2009.
