This monumental and masterfully carved Chinese jadeite sculpture is rendered from a highly desirable lavender and pale green jadeite boulder. The complex, openwork composition depicts the "Sanxing" (the three stellar deities of good fortune: Fu, Lu, and Shou) riding aboard an ornate dragon-headed boat sailing over cresting waves.

The figures are depicted with joyous expressions, gathered around a central low table under a draped canopy, accompanied by playful acolytes (boys), a ruyi scepter, and peaches of immortality. The stern of the vessel is carved as a traditional sailing junk, complete with a small sail and a Yin-Yang symbol at the mast. This exceptional, high-relief carving showcasing beautiful, natural lavender coloration is presented on a custom-fitted tiered wooden stand.
