This magnificent and monumental Chinese table screen showcases four matched rectangular jadeite panels set within a richly textured, dark-stained hardwood frame and stand. Each of the four panels is masterfully carved in low relief with traditional mountainous landscapes, serene lakeside pavilions, towering pine and wutong trees, and winding pathways, creating an ethereal, misty vista reminiscent of classical scholar-artistic dreamstone paintings. Multiple carved inscriptions and seal marks are detailed in the upper corners of the stone plaques.

The lower portion of the robust wooden frame features a prominent four-character gilded inscription in elegant seal script (篆書), which reads: "觀奇雙攀" (loosely translating to "An exceptional view to scale double heights" or "Beholding the rare wonders together").
