This monumental and highly intricate hand-carved Oriental sculpture depicts an elaborate imperial carriage procession. The central carriage is constructed from countless meticulously carved and fitted tiles, featuring a woven-patterned arched roof, decorative window panels with detailed textile-patterned curtains, and fully rotating wheels adorned with scroll motifs. A female figure is depicted looking out from one of the side windows, while a male driver stands at the front platform holding the reins and a whip.

The carriage is pulled by a spirited team of six finely detailed horses, each adorned with decorated blankets, saddles, and harnesses, connected by delicate, hand-carved link chains. The lively procession is accompanied by eight animated dogs running alongside the horses and carriage, including some carrying small baskets in their mouths. The entire scene is mounted on a long, custom-fitted, dark-finished wooden base raised on low ruyi-head feet. A carved presentation plaque with calligraphic characters is mounted to the center of the wooden stand.
