A fine contemporary authorized Fabergé limited edition full lead crystal egg-shaped paperweight titled "Pine Cone Egg," from the Crystal Egg Series introduced in the late 1990s. Handcrafted in St. Petersburg, Russia, this piece is inspired by the historic 1900 Imperial Pine Cone Easter Egg. The clear lead crystal features detailed frosted and deep wheel-cut engravings depicting overlapping scales that form a highly dimensional pine cone pattern across the entire body.
The flat underside of the base is acid-etched with the official script signature "Fabergé" alongside the designation "1997" and the limited edition sequence number "331".
The lot is housed in its original presentation elements, including the fitted navy blue textured leatherette box featuring a gilt-stamped Russian double-headed imperial eagle and the Fabergé logotype, a pleated silk and satin interior lining, and the original matching numbered Official Certificate of Authenticity signed by Fabergé President Michael J. Ruddy.
Crystal: Excellent condition. The clear lead crystal body is entirely free of chips, flea bites, surface scratches, or clouding. The wheel-cut and frosted details remain exceptionally sharp and distinct.
Presentation Box: Very good structural condition. The exterior fabric shows negligible shelf wear, and the white satin interior lining remains pristine and free of staining.
Documentation: The Certificate of Authenticity remains crisp and intact with bright, clear printing.
