A rare and finely crafted contemporary authorized Fabergé porcelain desk cross on an integrated footed pedestal stand. Inspired by the historic 1915 Imperial Red Cross Easter Egg designed by Henrik Wigström, this devotional piece features a pristine opaque white porcelain ground accented with intricate hand-painted matte and polished gold scrollwork embellishments. The center of the cross is mounted with a vivid, dimensional translucent crimson enamel Red Cross motif.
The reverse of the cross displays the stylized Cyrillic imperial monogram of the Dowager Empress Maria Feodorovna beneath the Russian imperial crown, alongside the historic commemorative years "1914" and "1915". The underside of the footed pedestal base features the official stamped hallmark "Fabergé" alongside the designation "Hand Painted" and its individual limited edition sequence identifier.
The piece is entirely self-contained within its original premium navy blue textured leatherette presentation case, lined with padded white silk and satin, featuring a gilt-stamped Russian double-headed imperial eagle and the Fabergé logotype.
Porcelain & Enamel: Excellent condition. The white porcelain body is free of fractures, hair cracks, glaze crazing, or surface abrasions. The crimson enamel insert is completely flawless.
Gilding: The extensive gold leaf and painted accents remain exceptionally bright and intact with zero signs of handling wear or thinning.
Presentation Box: Very good structural condition. The exterior fabric shows negligible shelf wear at the base corners, and the padded interior lining remains clean and bright.
