A large-format poster featuring a whimsical and surreal composition of Lincoln Center rendered as an elaborate celebratory cake, complete with candles and decorative details. The design is by Larry Rivers, with photographic work by Steve Haas, and was commissioned by Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts as part of the List Art Poster Program. The imagery combines fine art and photography in a playful, imaginative presentation characteristic of late 20th-century conceptual design.
