An impressive pair of tall decorative pedestals featuring richly decorated porcelain bodies mounted with elaborate gilt bronze ornamentation. Each pedestal is embellished on multiple sides with finely detailed pastoral and romantic figural scenes set within landscapes, framed by ornate gilt bronze borders and foliate corner mounts against a deep cobalt-black ground.

The stepped bases and upper sections are extensively decorated with gilt floral scrollwork, applied bronze mounts, and classical foliate motifs. Each shaped porcelain top features an additional interior musical salon scene surrounded by intricate gilt decoration. The substantial scale and highly ornamental design give the pair a strong French Louis XVI and Empire-inspired appearance.

Dimensions: Each 33 in. H x 17 in. W x 17 in. D.
