An ornate pair of covered porcelain urns in a rich cobalt blue glaze, each decorated with large classical figural scenes depicting romantic pastoral gatherings. The painted reserves are framed by extensive gilt foliate decoration, with additional gilded bands and scrolling ornament throughout.

Each urn is fitted with elaborate gold-tone metal mounts, including winged figural handles, pierced decorative borders, acorn-form finials, and square pedestal bases. The combination of cobalt porcelain, classical imagery, and lavish gilt ornament gives the pair a strong French Empire and Neoclassical-style appearance.

Dimensions: Each 22 in. H x 9 in. W x 7.5 in. D.
