Iconic PH Artichoke pendant light designed by Poul Henningsen for Louis Poulsen. This celebrated Mid-Century Modern fixture features the signature multi-layered arrangement of precision-formed metal leaves that completely shield the light source while creating a warm, glare-free illumination. Finished in a copper-toned metal with white interior surfaces, the sculptural pendant serves as both a functional light fixture and a striking work of modern design. First introduced in 1958 for Copenhagen’s Langelinie Pavilion, the PH Artichoke remains one of the most recognizable and influential lighting designs of the twentieth century.

Dimensions

40 x 34 x 34 in.

Condition Report

Overall good condition with light wear consistent with age and use. Minor surface marks and patina to the metal leaves. Illuminated and functioning at the time of cataloging; wiring and electrical components have not been tested for long-term use and may require inspection by a qualified electrician prior to installation.
