This vibrant piece is an authentic vintage exhibition poster for the 2006 Annual Dania Beach Art & Antique Festival, which took place on June 2nd and 3rd. The poster prominently features a lively, bustling urban landscape painted by legendary Miami outsider artist Purvis Young (1943–2010).
The featured artwork captures Young’s iconic signature motifs, depicting a colorful, grid-windowed cityscape populated with blocky buildings, trucks, and figures in shades of pink, yellow, and blue. True to his celebrated spontaneous technique, the poster itself has been uniquely elevated to an original collectible state: it is hand-signed "Young" in thick black paint across the top center and incorporates handwritten elements by the artist, including "Dania Beach" boldly written across the sky.
