This collection features three distinct ceramic vessels rendered in the traditional Satsuma style. Each piece is meticulously decorated with hand-painted narrative scenes featuring figures in traditional attire, set against landscapes with architectural elements and stylized floral motifs. The ornamentation includes heavy moriage (raised enamel) accents and intricate geometric gilding characteristic of the Meiji and Taisho eras. The larger ovoid vase depicts a prominent indoor courtly scene, while the smaller globular jar and long-necked bottle vase feature varied figural groupings and dense brocade patterns. Each piece exhibits a fine crackle glaze and sits on a recessed foot with marks on the underside.
