This large vintage Chinese cloisonné enamel vase features a vibrant turquoise-blue ground decorated with a dense wirework "cloud" pattern. The central body is adorned with a pair of detailed dragons amidst stylized flaming pearls and swirling colorful clouds. The neck and foot are decorated with traditional ruyi-head borders and floral bands. The underside (Image s5) features a four-character seal mark that reads "Jingtai Lan Zhi" (Jingtai Blue Made), a reference to the Ming Dynasty Jingtai period when cloisonné technique reached its legendary peak. As is common with mid-to-late 20th-century export pieces, this mark is used as a hallmark of the "Jingtai Blue" style rather than a period designation. The interior and underside are finished with a characteristic turquoise-blue counter-enamel.
